Divorce saga between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard ends quietly

There may be times when San Antonio couples going through a divorce bring with them a fair amount of emotional tension in regards to the failure of their relationship. Oftentimes, couples are recommended to try and work through their divorce proceedings in mediation. Such sessions are conducted in private without the risk of any disclosures being made public. However, there may be cases where a couple is simply unable to reach an agreement as to the terms of their separation in mediation, in which case their proceedings may move on to court. While this may ultimately be a better forum in which to resolve their grievances, they potentially run the risk of having their “dirty laundry” aired in the public eye.

Such has been, up until recently, the manner in which the divorce between Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has proceeded. The pair split shortly after marrying in February of last year. Heard subsequently sought a restraining order against Depp following an alleged domestic incident this past May in which she claims the actor hit her with a cellphone. While Depp denied the allegations and even had several friends speak up in his support, he was ordered to cease contact with Heard. The two recently announced, however, that they had reached a settlement privately, part of which included Heard dropping the allegations of abuse. For their part, both expressed never having wished harm upon the other during the entire process.

While inquiring minds may be more apt to focus on the lives of celebrities, some may be surprised just how much the details of their divorces may generate interest if revealed. Avoiding having any private details unnecessarily released during divorce proceedings may be difficult, but not impossible, particularly if one has the assistance of an experienced attorney.
