Mother and daughter reunited after child custody violation

When two people divorce, there is often a certain level of animosity between the two. Sometimes the divorce proceedings can get downright nasty. Sadly, the ones that really suffer from this are the children in the family. Parents may argue about who is the fitter parent and who the kids would benefit the most from being with. These decisions need to be made in a court of law where the judge can take all the different variables into consideration. When they are not, the children are caught in the middle and have the potential of getting hurt.

One man that took matters into his own hands recently is still on the run from San Antonio, Texas authorities. It seems that joint custody wasn’t enough for the 28-year-old who took his daughter and went on the lam six months ago.

After seeing a picture of himself on the news, the man decided to drop his almost 2-year-old little girl off at his grandmother’s home in San Antonio. She has been returned to her mother who is reportedly elated to have her back. She plans to make up for lost time by going shopping for new clothes with the toddler, something that she has not had the privilege of doing for a while.

When a child custody agreement is violated in this way, it is not just the parents who suffer. The little girl in this story went without the love and nurture of her mother. The mother may wish to speak to her lawyer in order to amend the custody agreement to ensure that something like this does not happen again.
