10-year divorce and visitation battle still going strong

Most of the time divorce is not an easy decision to make. When two people in San Antonio decide to end a marriage it can be difficult for many reasons, especially when children are involved. In these types of situations it’s important for both parents to put the needs of the children first.

A couple in a divorce and visitation case that has now been going on for 10 years continue to face off in court as well as in the court of public opinion over the visitation of their children. The father, who claims he hasn’t seen his twin son and daughter for four years, alleges that his ex-wife is alienating his children towards him. He also claims that she has been lying to authorities regarding him and that the supervised visitation system that has been set up is just a way for lawyers to take his money.

The mother in the case, which has involved almost 600 rulings and motions, alleges that her ex-husband is unstable and that he has attempted to destroy her public image and has also been physically violent with her. The couples’ divorce was granted in 2005, but it has continued to carry on with all of the motions revolving around the children and various legal fees.

Most marriages that end in divorce do not go to this extreme. However, divorce can bring out many emotions from all those involved. It’s important for anyone who is facing divorce or a custody and visitation battle to contact a knowledgeable and experienced divorce and visitation attorney for help.
