Child support and child custody battles in San Antonio are never a pleasant experience for anyone involved and yet they are often a necessity when parents can’t agree on taking care of their children after splitting up. Although most of the time both parents want what’s best for their children that doesn’t mean they can mutually agree on what that is.
Actor Charlie Sheen is being asked for more child support money to help care for the twin sons he shares with Brooke Mueller. Ms. Mueller does not currently have the boys after her brother, Scott Mueller, was recently granted temporary guardianship of both Bob and Max. However, just moments after receiving custody, Mr. Mueller let Mr. Sheen know that he expected $55,000 in child support to help care for them. This request comes despite the fact that Mr. Sheen already pays for all the boys’ expenses.
According to reports, another one of Mr. Sheen’s ex-wives, Denise Richards, who was previously the boys’ guardian, never once asked for child support from Mr. Sheen. Meantime, Ms. Mueller’s child support payments had been cut in half recently because she is not the primary caregiver. Reportedly, if she does ever get full custody of the boys then at that time Sheen will pay her $55,000 a month in child support.
Although it appears that Mr. Sheen has been making sure that the financial needs of his twin sons are being taken care of, there are still issues that are yet to be resolved. Whenever these kinds of disputes arise it’s important for a person in this kind of situation to have the best legal help possible, which is why he or she should probably contact a competent child custody attorney as soon as possible.
