Rapper going to court for child support and custody of new baby

Many times when a couple in San Antonio has a child outside of marriage and later decides to split up the custody of the child can come into question. Sometimes, only one parent wants to retain custody, in which case only the amount of child support that has to be paid will need to be decided. However, when both parents want to retain custody things can get a lot more complicated.

Rapper and actor, Ludacris is reportedly fighting for custody of his two-month-old daughter. According to reports, the Fast & Furious star says that he is “fit and capable” to be the girl’s father and that he should have full custody. However, the mother of the girl, Tamika Fuller is also fighting for custody and recently asked for $15,000 month in child support from Ludacris. The judge instead ordered Ludacris to pay $7,000 a month.

The girl has been living with her mother since she was born two months ago. However, the rapper says that he is a good father to his 12-yer-old daughter and that he should also have custody of this child. He has even asked the judge for child support from Ms. Fuller. He claims that he no longer has steady cash flow from the “Fast & Furious” franchise after fellow star Paul Walker was killed in a car crash, which put the latest installment of the film series on hold.

It will be up to a judge to decide who will retain custody of this child and how much the non-custodial parent will have to pay in monthly child support. If you are facing a child custody or support battle of your own then maybe you should retain an experienced child custody lawyer now.
